I was adding some functionality and it broke the site, it was so bad that I had to revert to backup files. However, I was using a new method to edit the file code and that one newly introduced variable did not register in my smooth brain that maybe it was the culprit the entire time.

It was only after exhausting every other possibility that I went back to the tried and true updating methods and magically, it fixed the busted site.

Anyways, I added a new "draft" function and this post was originally created to test that function but it doesn't seem as if it's working. Oh well, got to make a post and add a funny meme.
